What type & sizes should I send?
Always use 35mm film. 400 speed works best, 100 or 200 speed may require the use of a tripod. Send 3 x 5 to 8 x 10 inch photos. Do not send negatives, slides, instant camera prints, or e-mail photos. Always center and fill the frame up with your vehicle and don't cut off any part, we cannot reproduce what's not there.

Digital Photos: We now accept digital photos, only saved on a CD. Please note:
You must use a digital camera with 3.0 or higher megapixels. All photos must be taken and saved at the highest resolution and quality your camera has to offer. Use standard optical focal length. Do not use Digital Zoom, it will render your photos to coarse. Save your photos in both standard and TIFF formats (tiff preferred), on a CD as they were originally taken, do not use any photo touch up programs to alte
r the photos.

I can’t decide which photos to send in.
You can send in several photos, and mark your 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice and let us select which looks best in your layout. Digital photos on CD, name each file in the same matter.

Can you make my photo look better?
To some extent we can, but keep in mind through the enlargement process, when things are made larger you will notice imperfections even more. Carefully choose your best photos before sending them to us.

My photo is good, but the vehicle color is slightly off.
Mark which ever photo is closest to your vehicle color and we will do our best to match it.

I'm not that good at taking photographs.
Please take time to read our PHOTO TIPS Page.

There is distracting objects in my photo, but I want to use this Photo.
We do partial background removal, but to a certain extent. We suggest taking the picture over or choose the background change option on your order form. We can do a full background change, with an artistic border. See Order form or Photo Tips Page for pricing on this option...

My Car was featured in a magazine, can I use the photos from it?
We do not use magazine photos, as the quality is poor compared to a photograph when we enlarge it.

Can I e-mail my pictures?
We do not except e-mail photos, reproduction quality is always poor.

Can I send digital photos that I have printed from my computer or the file?
No. Our computer and colors are calibrated differently, even if you have a high resolution camera we can’t change the way our system is set up. They may print good on your system, but would there would be a noticeable color mismatch on your sign. Save your digital photos on a CD, in the original way they were taken.
Please see our
PHOTO TIPS Page before taking your digital photos.

How close will my reproduction photos be compared to the ones I have sent in.
We usually get very good results, there are times we have to make certain adjustments to obtain the highest quality in reproducing your photos......BACK TO TOP

TYPE or TEXT:

Do you check my spelling before you print my sign:
Please have more than one person check the spelling of all your text. We do of course proof-read our text and compare it to your submitted order form. If any words are misspelled, and it's our mistake, send the sign back and we will send you another sign & refund you the shipping cost. Can I have a different font type in my headings?
No. Many hours are spent designing every layout. Each one is set up with a specific type style.

What are Headings?
Headings are specific facts that describe your vehicle, such as Body Type,
Model, Engine, Transmission, Rear End, Interior, Sound System, Original Cost,
or anything that describes the most important facts or features your vehicle has.

How much information should I include in my headings?
Too little, can make the reader think your clueless about your own vehicle. Too much and the average reader will be bored and move on to the next display. The maximum number of headings in our layouts is eight. So give the most important facts and features you can about your vehicle without giving an entire detailed description, which not many people will read.

Can you fit all the text under my headings?
Most of the time yes, we can reduce the size & length of the text, or in some cases abbreviate certain words. Just remember the more text you give us, the smaller your sign text will be......BACK TO TOP

SHOW SIGN INFORMATION and CARE
PRINTING INKS:
Printing inks are guaranteed for one year continuous outside use. For total protection, we now apply a UV, weatherproof, High Gloss laminated finish.

MOISTURE RESISTANCE:
Your Show Sign will resist moisture, we also include a upper & lower plastic cap stripping to protect the edges of your laminated sign, but if it looks like a heavy rain we suggest you bring your sign in.

SUPPORTING YOUR SIGN:
We now include a FREE removable, fold-up back stand with each sign. If its very windy outside take your sign in. They are not that heavy so you wouldnít want it damaging your car or anyone else's vehicle.

CARE & CLEANING
Cleaning your Show Sign is easy. Use ONLY a damp, soft cotton cloth to clean your sign. Do not use paper towels, abrasive rags or waxes. You might scratch the surface of your sign. Treat your sign like you treat your vehicle.

STORAGE:
Do not store your sign inside your vehicle standing up. Temperatures reach well over 125 degrees and can cause it to warp. Even though your sign is made of White PVC Sheeting, which absorbs less heat than other black sign board offered by other companies, it can still warp when exposed to excessive temperatures.

E-MAIL COPY BEFORE YOUR SIGN IS PRINTED:
We can e-mail you a copy of your sign. We discourage this as it can delay the delivery of your sign, if there are any changes we sometimes have to reset the overall sign layout.......BACK TO TOP
